"This is a big set, you get your moneys worth. It is a fun set, with the drill being able to be vertical or horizontal. I got 2 blue rock monsters instead of 1 like it mentioned, which is great since he is our favorite. The Red rock monster is cool, with red crystals, I just wish it had come with blue crystals, instead of yellow."

"I had been waiting for this set to come out for months, then I saw it on Lego.com while I was in Colorado for a vacation. I knew instantly that this set would be one of my favorites! After I got the money I decided to immediately buy it, but Lego released the Underground Mining Station, a Lego Power Miners Limited Edition set, so I decided to get that instead. After buying that set I saved my money for months until I finally had enough to get this set! And now after owning this set for a few weeks I'm finally reviewing it!
This is definitely one of Lego Power Miners best sets yet! I am sitting here with this set in front of me (as usual with all of my reviews) and looking at it as I type so as not to miss anything. The build was very fun!! I loved building this set. It took me less than 2 hours. The set came with numbered bags and 2 instruction booklets which made the build easy and fun!
Now on to the features of this set! The drill works great! Now, don't you ever adjust how the drill works! Leave it how Lego designed it. Trust me, I tried to adjust it to make it less lose (I thought that It was too woobly when in all actuality, it was perfectly fine, I just wanted it to be less woobly) and I made it too tight and the drill wouldn't spin anymore. So I had to readjust it to fix that problem that I caused.
The Dynamite and net launcher really work!!! I love shooting Tremorox (the big red Rockmonster) then capturing him with the net!
The crane is so COOL!! I really love this feature!! I love capturing Glaciator (the little blue one) and carrying him around with the crane.
The transforming action works better than I thought! You pull a little thing on the front of where the miners stand and control the rig then pull the tower up until it stands straight up!
Characters:
Doc. They guy with the gray sleeves and a star on his outfit. Doc is the leader of the Power Miners.
Duke. The guy with no sleeves and a drill on his outfit. Duke has a dirty face.
Brains. The guy with white sleeves and a test tube on his outfit. Brains is the Power Miner's scientist.
Rockmonsters:
Glaciator. This is one of the meanest Rockmonster. He's the little blue one.
Tremorox. This Rockmonster is a meaner, nastier version of Meltrox. Tremorox is the big red one.
Now I'll share a little secrete with all of you, if you promise not to not believe me.
I had read a review that someone had put up here. That person said that when they got the set, they thought that it was messed up because it came with two Rockmonsters. I thought that the person who said this didn't know that Glaciator came with it. I know can say that I was wrong. This set did come with two Rockmonsters. Not including, Tremorox. This set came with 2 Glaciators! I can't promise that yours will come with it, but! It might. Please believe me on this. I was amazed when I found this out. It was hard for me to believe it too. I don't lie in my reviews.
